On 2nd Thought - Circle Thank You

Happy Friday Bloggers!!

Here is another O2T card inspired by Kristina Werner, but I did not see this card on her actual blog.  I was scanning You Tube and I came across this video that someone made after purchasing Kristina's Virtual Card Club for June of 2009.  Under normal circumstances, I would not post inspirational items that are only available through purchase since that just doesn't feel right to me but the idea was already put out there on the internet for me (and you) to view.  I know...I know...2 wrongs do not make a right!  However I was impressed by the cards shown in the video, I decided to purchase several other VCC downloads for myself. So that's good...right?

So basically the card is 1" circles cut out of various patterned paper and adhered to a card base.  Sounds simple right??  Well if you ever tried to cut out smaller circles on a Cricut Expression, you would know better!!  I did use MTC software to print out several Paper Pack designs from my growing Lettering Delights PP collection and just used my Marvy Uchida 1" circle punch to get a perfect circle.  After adding a simple sentiment and other embellishments, I adhered each circle to the card base with a pop dot.

I really hope you enjoyed the cards I created this week using Make-the-Cut software.   I love that you can do so much with this program like making shaped cards, manipulating cuts/layers, printing directly from the "on screen" mat, and so much more!  I hate that MTC can no longer support Cricut machines.  I really hope PC reconsiders their position or there is an appeal to the decision, but I am not holding my breath.
