On 2nd Thought - Fish Card

This O2T card started out in my head as an E2C card that should have only taken 10 minutes or less to create.  I knew I wanted to create a fish card for my husband's uncle's birthday.  He loves fishing and I thought the fish from the Cricut Wild Card Cartridge (page 66) would fit the bill.  So I am thinking I would have 2 quick cuts and that would be that.  Boy was I wrong!!  After about an hour fussing over the colors, sizes, textures the card finally came together!!  I am happy with how it turned out, but it doesn't look anything like my initial idea.

Supplies:
Card Base - Blue Dot Paper Shop Kraft and the card measures 4.25" x 5.5"
Solid Paper - Light blue and green are BDPS; Grey and dark green are unknown (pulled from the scrap bin)
Diecut Image - Cricut Wild Card Cartridge (page 66)
Texture Plates - Cuttlebug Oriental Weave and Candy Cane Stripe Embossing Folders

  2. The sad thing is Henry's birthday was Saturday and the card is still in my craft room. I forgot to take it to church on Sunday.

  3. My dad would have loved it late! I made a very easy scrapbook for him a long time ago that has all of his school pictures, and a few family photos of him growing up, and he loved it! So, I know he would have appreciated the card even if it were late.
