Every 2nd Counts - Happy Bird-Day!

Very rarely do I ever put a sentiment on the inside of my cards, but this idea for a "cat" card using the Joy's Happy Bird-day stamp has been bouncing around in my head for a few weeks so I just had to create it.

I wanted the outside of the card to be very plain to just focus on the empty bird cage and the two yellow feathers.

The inside of the card is like the "prize" inside!!  I used my computer to create the sentiment for the inside of the card that played on the saying "having your cake and eating it too."  I stamped the cute little cat and added another feather at it's feet to continue the idea that the cat ate the bird.

I hope you enjoy this creation!  Have a great Wednesday!

  1. I absolutely love this punny cat card!! I only wish my cat would do more eating rather than releasing his live gifts in the house!!! My critter thongs are getting worn out this spring!!!
