On 2nd Thought - Elephant Shaped Card

For this On 2nd Thought (O2T) card, I was inspired by this post from Jin over at Under A Cherry Tree  to make this cute elephant shaped card. This cutie is for a little girl's first birthday.  I really like "shabby chic" look to the card.  This could easily be turned into a little boy's card by replacing the pink with green or blue.

The elephant is from Lettering Delights Sweet Nothings SVG set.  I made my card base and layers in MTC and cut out using my Black Cat Cougar.  I punched a 1 1/4" circle out of the scrap kraft cardstock from the middle elephant layer and added the number "1" and cupcake embellishments to both sides in order to hang from the elephant's trunk.

Here is a closer look at the embellishments hanging from the elephant's trunk.  I can see myself using this layout over and over again with changing out the embellishments to meet my needs in order to change the overall look to the card.
