Glory 2 God - God's Rainbow

Here is another Glory to God (G2G) card I made in less than 10 minutes.  I printed my sentiment out on cardstock and trimmed to 4 x 5.25.  Then I stamped alternating man and woman images in the colors of the rainbow above the sentiment.  I adhered to the card base using pop dots.

Joy's Life Design Team Thursday - Mr & Mrs

Joy's Life Design Team Thursday featuring Joy's Life Everyday Occasions Clear Stamp Set.

I am so in love with Joy's new stamp sets!!  These are a must have in your "go-to" stamp collection.  I don't know about you, but I have a few stamp sets that I always leave out that have basic sentiments so I can crank out a card a the last minute.  I really love how these new stamps mix font styles and the greetings are larger.  This allows you to make a statement with the sentiment.  That is what I did with the "congratulations" sentiment on this card.  I stamped it multiple times in VersaMark and set it with clear embossing powder to create a subtle background for the MR & MRS die cut letters.  I apologize that the photo is not that great as I was trying to get the light to catch the embossed areas.  I think you get the idea though!!

I really like this color combo and I have so many ideas, but my 10 month old is just now starting to sprout teeth so that leaves very little time for card making!  I was able to knock this card out in under 10 minutes!

Joy's Life Design Team Thursday - Pirate Greetings

Joy's Life Design Team Thursday featuring Joy's Life You're So Punny Clear Stamp Set.

Today's card was inspired by this new cartoon on the Disney channel called Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  Wow...how an adult's TV watching habits change after having kids!! Anyway...there is this cute little skull & crossbones icon on the boat flag and gold coins that I just had to make and pair with Joy's "Ahoy Matey" stamp.  I actually found a skull that looked like the one from the show in the new Lettering Delights Rockstar SVG Set.  I modified it slightly in MTC by removing the nose and making one eye socket larger than the other.  I also created a drop shadow layer for the cut in MTC and used by Cougar to cut out each layer.  I created the red and white background paper by using VersaMark to stamp the Hero Arts Stripes Pattern background image on red paper and embossed with white embossing powder.  I layered everything together on the card base using pop dots.  This card was created in under 10 minutes and I was able to use up some more of my scrap paper!

Summer Card Camp Color Challenge and Giveaway

This was a really difficult color challenge for me.  I ended up using this cute donkey image from the American Crafts Party Animal Stamp Collection.  I stamped on cream paper with a light brown ink and went in with a dark brown marker to enhance the shadow areas.  I hand cut this little guy out and adhered him to the card base with pop dots.  I added the heart, tail and bow to finish him off!

Every 2nd Counts - Hello Heart

Here is my 3rd card for this week's color challenge for the Summer Card Camp hosted by Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner!

I was flipping through one of my newer paper packs and I came across this fun yellowish-orange patterned paper and I immediately thought of this week's color challenge.  I just used some scraps left over from my xylophone card to make the green band.  Check out the dark green strip...I made my own glitter paper using VersaMark Dazzle pad and some sparkle embossing powder.  I really enjoy this technique and glitter doesn't get everywhere!!  I hope you enjoy this card.  Can you tell I am having so much fun at camp?!?!

Joy's Life Vinylology and Crafty Corner Duo Shout Out

Looking at these bright colors remind me of all my 9 month old daughter's toys.  So pulling from that inspiration, I made this E2C card that can be used for a gender neutral baby card or adoption card.  The diecut image is from Lettering Delights Let's Play SVG Set.  I cut each section out in the colors based on the challenge and assembled the xylophone image.  I also added a touch of  Ranger's Glossy Accents to the bolts and mallet ends to make them shine.

Here is my E2C card using this week's color combo.  I decided to use some images from the new Lettering Delights Seamstress SVG set.  I just wrapped each spool in the colors of the week and added them to the card that was pre-printed with the sentiment.  Did you notice that the word "Sew" is dashed like little stitch lines?
