Time 2 Party - Halloween Treat Bags

I made these cute little Halloween treat bags for my daughter's daycare Halloween Party to give to the other kids in her classroom.  I used the Trellis bag from SVG Cuts Tied Surprise Gift Boxes SVG Collection.

I did modify the cut file to make it a little taller to hold some Halloween pencils.  The original bag stands around 4" tall, but I made my bags 7.5" tall.  Since I made so many of these, I decided to go with double sided Halloween paper so I could cut the top and base all out of one sheet of 12x12 card stock.  I also used hot glue to assemble the bags and reinforced the bottom with a solid black piece of card stock to make sure it would hold up under all the weight of my goodies going in each bag!!

I think they turned out super cute!  What do you think?

Time 2 Party - Haunted House Table Decoration

I may be the last crafter on the planet to discover SVGCuts.com!  The 3D creations from Mary are great.  She is super talented.  I love how she tapes an assembly video for each 3D object in a kit and provides helpful hints.  I thought this Haunted House from the Elmhurst Hallow SVG Kit would look cool as a table decoration for Halloween.  It was fun to put it together right along with Mary!  Hope you enjoy!

Every 2nd Counts - Halloween Treat Box

While shopping today at Michaels, I found a Recollections Midnight Magic Signature Die Cut Shape paper stack on clearance for $9.99.  I picked it up to possibly use the little pre-made tags on some future projects.  When I got stack home and flipped through all the pages I came across this cute coffin treat box.  All I had to do was score on the indicator lines and fold!  It came together in just minutes.  I used some of the other die cut shapes from the stack to decorate the front of the treat box.  I am very pleased with how it came out.  I was inspired by the Twilight Saga since I watched Eclipse earlier today!!

 There are 3 other coffin die cut shapes that I plan to assemble and decorate a little differently!

Here is another quick Halloween card I pulled together while the little one was sleeping last night.  I thought this little green monster was super cute when I was making my Halloween blog header that I just had to PNC him slap him on a card.  I glued googly eyes over his real eyes for a little different look.

Wow...it has been a few weeks since I have made a card!!  My little one has been keeping me super busy.  I was able to knock out this simple Halloween card after she went to bed tonight.  I think it turned out kind of cute.  I really like how the pumpkin stands out off the purple background.
