I made this card the other week using scraps on my desk and my 1" circle punch!! I love using my scraps to make cards and embellishments. It hurts my heart to throw paper away!! I hope you are inspired to take a look at your desk to see what you can create. Enjoy!

While attempting to clean my craft room today, I got a little side tracked and started making little embellishments out of my scraps, small paper bits and a few punches. Here are just a few of what I made today. Needless to say, I still need to clean my room!!
The 2 embellishments with the scalloped edge are my favorite. I think these will look cute as date tags on a scrapbook page.
I love having these at my finger tips when I am working on my scrapbook pages. I have almost used up all the ones I made here.
Here is another Page 2 Page scrapbook layout I made for my daughter's album. This one is all about her first ponytail at 11 months!! I was so happy because that meant I could keep her hair back during meal time. I really disliked having to pick all the food bits out before it became dry and crusty.
I am still trying to find my way in the scrapbook world. I am learning as I go!! I hope you enjoy!

I was inspired by the little flowers and the cute scalloped edge on the plate. This was such a quick card to pull together. I stamped the flower images on some fun patterned paper with versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. Each flower was hand cut after embossing. I added a yellow daisy brad to the center of the large flower for visual interest. I picked a soft lavender color to stamp out the background image and I used a soft gray for the sentiment. Using a decorative blade on my paper trimmer, I cut out the tiny scallop edge that I glued to the bottom of the card face. I used large foam adhesive squares to pop the card face to the card base. I hope you enjoy what I created!

Most people are sharing 4th of July decorations and projects today, but not me!! Today is my 10th Wedding Anniversary with my husband. Yes...we got married on "Independence" day. We always have the day off from work, there are a ton of sales and fireworks!! Sounds good to me. So with that in mind, I will share the card I made for my husband this year.
I saw this cute frame that someone pinned on Pintrest (click link below). It is the number of months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds in 1 year.
I thought I would do the same type thing for my 10 year wedding anniversary card for my husband. (There have been 3 leap years since 2002 if you are wondering how I got 3643 days.) I created the card front using MTC. I used IrisUPC for the font and selected an aqua background paper from the LD Peppermint Holiday Paper Pack collection. I attached the card front to the base using some large foam adhesive squares.
