P2P Beauty Is...

My goal with this layout was to attempt the 5 minute page layout from The Pink Camera but I failed again.  This time it took the entire 51 minutes of the podcast to complete.  I am very proud of myself though because this challenge has taken some of my apprehensions away and I am just going with the flow of the process and not over thinking as much.  It used to take me hours to create a layout and my last 2 layouts have been completed under a hour.  So even though I failed, I still feel like a winner!

Here is my layout and additional shots.

Page Size - 12" x 12"

P2P Absolutely Beautiful

Here is a scrapbook challenge I participated in based on Lisa's Facebook post the other day to create a 5 minute layout and fill out a questionnaire when complete.  I am really new to scrapbooking with only a few pages under my belt so this was a major challenge for me.  I failed at keeping it under the 10 minute prep and pull supplies and 5 minute scrap.  But oh well, I will keep trying.  You can see that my layout is very simple so if I was more skilled I probably could have pulled it off.

Here is my layout and a close up shot of title.

Here are the questions and answers based on this challenge.

1. How long did you take to pull your products? 30-45 minutes
2. What sort of products did you pull? Paper pack with cut-a-parts and alpha stickers and sketch
3. Where you making a plan for the 5 minute layout as you were pulling your products?Yes
4. Did you time yourself doing the challenge? Yes
5. Did you finish your layout in the 5 minutes given? If not, how much longer did it take? What sort of finishing touches did you make to “finish” the page off? It took me 35 minutes to create this page.  My layout was complete at 28 minutes and the remaining time was adding my journaling.
6. How did you feel after you finished the 5 minutes? I was still fussing over paper at the 5 minute mark!
7. Did you like how your page turned out? I do like my page
8. Would you do the challenge again? or was it too stressful?  It was stressful to have to work so fast, but I will do it again and just see how close to 5 minutes I can get.

E2C Baby Card

Here is a cute little baby card that I cranked out in like 2 seconds!

Here is a picture of the supplies I used.

The card base was this cute baby blue polka-dot blank card base that came from this set I picked up in the fall at Michael's.  The manufacture listed on the back of the package is Craft Smith.  I cut a strip of paper from that DCWV stack I picked up on clearance at Joann's and I punched some gray scrap paper with my Martha Stewart elephant punch and just glued everything down.

Super easy and super fast!
